Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout (異世界美少女受肉おじさんと, Isekai Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to) is a Japanese anime series based on the Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to manga series written by Yu Tsurusaki and illustrated by Shin Ikezawa. The anime premiered in January 2022 and was directed by Sayaka Yamai at OLM.

Synopsis[]

Childhood friends Hinata Tachibana (32) and Tsukasa Jinguji (32) who lived an ordinary office worker life. On the way back from a certain joint party, the two are sent to another world by the existence of a mystery who claims to be a goddess. What Jinguji saw there was the appearance of a close friend who had turned into a blonde blue-eyed beautiful girl ...!? Jingu-ji is confused by the cuteness of Tachibana, who looks like a beautiful girl.

Tachibana comes to the coolness of Jingu-ji because she has become a female body. However, she was originally a close friend. She must defeat her Demon King and return to her original form as soon as possible so that she does not break this relationship. Yes, before each other likes each other. This is a romantic comedy about a different world that you should never fall in love with.

Summary[]

The story follows Hinata Tachibana, an average 32 year old office worker, and his handsome childhood friend, Tsukasa Jinguji. Hinata is so unpopular with women that he jokingly laments that he wishes he could reincarnate as a beautiful girl, but his wish is accidentally granted when he and Tsukasa are summoned to a magical fantasy world and tasked with defeating the Demon King by the Goddess of Love and Beauty.

Can Hinata conquer the Demon King and get his original body back before he and his best friend fall for each other?

Episodes[]

An anime television series adaptation was announced on May 17, 2021. It is produced by OLM and directed by Sayaka Yamai, with Toshimitsu Takeuchi handling the series' scripts, Aoi Yamato designing the characters, and Takeshi Watanabe composing the music. It premiered on January 12, 2022, on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo. The opening theme song is "Akatsuki no Salaryman" (Salaryman at Dawn) by Yoshiki Fukuyama, while the ending theme song is "FA'NTASY to!" by Luce Twinkle Wink. Crunchyroll licensed the series outside of Asia. Medialink licensed the series in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania minus Australia and New Zealand.
