What a lovely shop. The lady was very friendly and we spoke a bit in Spanish together. The gentleman, who I presume was her husband, was amicable too. I was very pleased with the two items I bought. I would definitely come back. Gracias.
I've been trying too visit this shop on the quayside for quite some weeks..But couldn't until now park..But it's intrensic..And my beloved (when I say ,beloved,I think I sound really posh,my fiancee what was.)once got a crystal vase for under £5..(crystal...)That's why I went backIt's not the usual gift shop selling souvenirs made in china .And that's why I took the pictures.My uncle was in the scrap trade in Nottingham..ironically my father lived InRobin hood chase..And they were forever up too no good..And my father went on to learn a trade whilst my uncle ran away too the navy...Absconding after three weeksand grandma had the military police outside for four weeks.Anyway as usual I digress..He being in the scrap trade got loads of silver and gold .And my posh aunty sold it for him..!
Lots of interesting stuff in here.Shame about the peculiar passive aggressive signs all over the shop complaining about people who are "only looking".From working market stores I do get the frustration you can feel sometimes but it's so heavy handed it feels positively hostile.Shame, because otherwise a fairly nice store, though probably more expensive than most...
